Task
Design, model and texture a folly using the
architectural research you have been engaged in. Create a presentation turntable video using
Viewport 2.0 in a lit Maya scene.

Reflections
I'm very happy with the creative brief, I think that creating a folly gives us a lot of creative freedom. My current vision is probably far too ambitious for my current skill level but it's never really stopped me before. I don't want to settle for the 'Low' submission level I want all the maps for my folly and I want it to be technically brilliant. I take most of my inspiration from the abandoned and ruinous follies. I love Palladian architecture and want to design something based on the late British Palladian influence. I have a lot to learn with regards to making my asset game ready and incorporating lots of new map styles but I'm really hoping to give it a good crack. I'm trying my hardest not to get overwhelmed by the amount of work I have to do.
