This little door is actually one of my most favorite pieces to date. The textures are ALL hand painted and I managed to sculpt that little lion head on Zbrush and reduce the polys to import it into Maya ALL BY MYSELF. Then I went and learned ambient occlusion and I just think I'm the best thing since sliced bread! I also learned a bunch of stuff about brickwork around windows and doors!
My next study is called 'Proper nice door' or just 'Georgian Door'. YES I LIKE DOORS OKAY.
